Well with this odds i guess Rijeka is nice choice. This spring Italian billionaire Volpi bought Rijeka. He promised to invest in squad and he did and Rijeka must be considered amongst Dinamo as main contender for tittle. They bought some really good players:
- Neretljak (from Hajduk), has 5 years played in Suwon where he was few times voted for best player of the South Korean league
- Knezevic (from Livorno), ex Rijeka and national team player, played in Livorno and bit Juventus
- Gabric (from Hajduk), was one of best talents, went to Trabzon, was there few years, ended in Hajduk again, had horrible car crash, its to be seen how he recovered
- Vranjes (from Genclerbirligi), also ex national player, played in Bayer, Stuttgart, Werder, good solid midfielder, plenty of experience
- Benko (from Kortrijk), few years ago was very promising, four years in Nurnberg, Standard, Kortijk
- Brezovec (from Slaven Belupo), promising attacker, was great as youth, ended in Dinamo, didn't get real chance there and went on, could be good if given chance

Also beside that Rijeka signed Diego Vanucci, they say he's not top but good player, and Mutombo, he's bit unknown. he went through Anderlecht school, had short spells in Belgium, England, still very young and they say enormous potential. With some local players Rijeka bought 11 players already and they'll do probably do more.

Gorica is a solid Slovenian side they used to be better in past but they are now mid table side. Croatian clubs have problems but are still class above Slovenian clubs, perhaps only Maribor and Olimpija could be put in same sentence with Croatian clubs. But Gorica is just mid table side and such would be struggling to survive in bit stronger Croatian league (which is also weak but stronger than Slovenian).

Game is played in Kostrena, municipality on edge of Rijeka on nice stadium where ex first league side Pomorac plays. Weather here is hot hot, so not best conditions, its 35-40 even in late afternoon. Rijeka is certainly better suited with this conditions, they play home, have more quality, longer bench. Expectation is high on this Rijeka side, they are expected to give Dinamo a hard battle for tittle. Gorica should be no problem.
