info about this match from Popcalin (expert for romania football): " CFR surely doesn't want to go in European Cups next year, because their team is in deep reconstruction. CFR owner declared his intentions of gathering a good team for next year so they can win the title. Their plan is simple, they did it before, and it worked: one year they focus on championship, they win it and the next year they go in UCL. After some good games there, they sell the best players, and in the championship they start losing games, so they won't go in Europe next year, just to start over with the championship. They did this twice, now club owner expressed his intentions of doing so once again!  "

UPDATE new info from popcalin: I started believing they don't want to play in Europe next season, and their last results kinda' confirm this. 
Also, CFR would like to get some trust and morale for the cup game, so a victory here could warm up the spirits and maybe bring more supporters at the cup game. They can also keep the traditional cooperation of sharing points like they used to do.
